    To provide unconditional love to patients, residents, staff, visitors, and participants through obedient, trained and certified dogs of sound temperament with caring and sensitive handlers. To provide training and socialization for participating animal and handler teams to assure patient safety and quality therapy. To participate in AAA/AAT (Therapy Dogs) promoted by national organizations. To have FUN!

    The Delmarva Region of the nonprofit National Capital Therapy Dogs, Inc., organization provides, at no cost, Animal Assisted Activities (Therapy Dog) and awareness to Medical Centers, Senior Living Facilities, the DE Veteran's Home and more in the Delaware - Maryland - Virginia area.
