For over 30 years Arrowwood Hills Community Center (AHCC) has been serving members of the Arrowwood Hills Cooperative and individuals living in the north side of Ann Arbor. In June of 2014 Arrowwood Hills Community Center became a non-for-profit organization in order to provide greater outreach to members of the Washtenaw County community. Since then AHCC has developed a multitude of programs. These programs include: Mustard-N-Catch Up an early childhood literacy program, our After-School Enrichment program, a six week summer camp, a teen broadcasting program, and our monthly food distribution program in partnership with Food Gatherers. Programs such as the After-School Enrichment Program serve as a bridge between the school system and families. Children receive homework help, participate in leadership activities, and receive a daily snack. Almost 60 households per month are benefit from our food distribution program. Arrowwood staff and volunteers work diligently to meet the needs of children, teens, and others who participate in our programming. It is our goal and commitment to continue to provide high-quality services at no-cost to families and community members.
