  • Mission

The San Francisco Public Health Foundation develops and mobilizes resources in support of the goals of the San Francisco Department of Public Health and its community partners to protect and promote health.

    About Us

As San Franciscans, we depend on our public health agencies and non-profits to serve those in need, as well as to keep the larger community safe.

As a fiscal sponsor, the San Francisco Public Health Foundation helps to fulfill those needs by streamlining the process for individuals and corporations to provide funding directly to agencies. By providing support for resource development, strategic planning, human resource administration, book keeping, non-profit tax ID solutions or other services, partnering agencies are more able to focus on their strengths to better serve the Bay Area neighbors.

Sponsoring 60 different programs, ranging from public health clinics to immunization support to aid for families affected by violence to case management for the formerly incarcerated to transgender rights and healthcare, SFPHF seeks to improve our entire community.
