Friends of the Carpenter

  • Mission

Friends of the Carpenter is a non-profit, faith-based day facility that provides safety, structure and purpose for vulnerable members of our community.

    About Us

The mission of Friends of the Carpenter is to provide a safe and welcoming process and atmosphere where positive interchange and friendships are established between the homeless and poor of Vancouver, with the more secure and stable volunteers from our community. Through simple woodcraft assembly at worktables, an atmosphere of acceptance and positive conversations occur amongst the poor and the volunteers, leading to encouragement and friendships.
