National African American Male Wellness Agency

The mission of the African American Male Wellness Agency is to increase the life expectancy of African American men in physical health, mental health, substance use, financial health, fatherhood, and research. Recently, the agency has added Uplift Her to help close the health disparity gap for women of color who are at the highest risk of fatal outcomes regarding cardiovascular health.

The Philadelphia Black Men's Wellness Day is a transformative event dedicated to the health and empowerment of Black men and their families. This significant day is made possible through an approved grant from the Department of Human Services, which will be utilized to provide a range of free health screenings, educational activities, and wellness resources. The event is not merely an event but a movement, aiming to champion the health and vitality of Black men and their families.
