    Sustainable Resilient Longmont collaborates with the Longmont community to cultivate a sustainable and thriving city. As the hub for education, advocacy and action, we support the three pillars of sustainability: environmental protection, responsible economic growth and social equity.

    About Us

    Sustainable Resilient Longmont was founded in 2015 to create a fun Earth Day event for Longmont that would inspire hope and empower positive change to address the often overwhelming environmental challenges of our time. Since that first event, the Longmont Earth Day Celebration has grown to become one of Boulder County's biggest Earth Day events and an annual tradition for many Longmont families.

    We have maintained one clear message throughout the years:

    There is hope for the future of humanity and our amazing planet if we work together on solving global challenges at a local level.

    And SRL has carried that message forward with our Zero Waste and Renewable Energy programs that are producing positive change for Longmont, and the world, through smart public policy decisions with the action to back it up.
