Montessori Academy in the Oaks

Since 1966, Montessori Academy in the Oaks (MAITO) has provided guidance and educational opportunities as vast as a child’s desire to discover. We offer toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and elementary programs. Stimulating classroom environments promote creativity and exploration that help students develop a love for learning. We emphasize respect for others, respect for oneself, and respect for the environment to help prepare our students for a lifetime of success, both inside and outside of the classroom.Each MAITO class operates on the principle of freedom within limits. Every program has its set of ground rules which differs from age to age, but is always based on the core Montessori beliefs – respect for self, for others, and for the environment. MAITO’s programs, based on self-directed, non-competitive activities, help children develop good self-images and the confidence to face challenges and change with optimism.  The mission of Montessori Academy in the Oaks is to provide a positive environment promoting growth, achievement, exploration, and development.
