Splash! Chicago

Splash! Chicago is a community service registered student organization at the University of Chicago, dedicated to bringing innovative enrichment programs to high school students in the Chicago community. We currently run two different programs: Splash, a one day event which draws over 400 high school students and 100 college-student teachers for one full Saturday of learning, and Cascade, a five-week afterschool program that offers 100 high school students a chance to delve more deeply into unconventional topics with very dedicated and engaging teachers.

Splash! Chicago firmly believes that out-of-school and unconventional enrichment programs can help spark an interest and passion for learning in ways that go beyond what happens in the normal classroom. Our programs are taught by college and graduate students, all young people teaching only what they are truly passionate about, and our organization is entirely run by students passionate about what we do.
