  • Mission

Sight.org is a Christian nonprofit restoring sight to the blind and furthering the gospel in rural Africa.

    About Us

Sight.org started in 2012 when founder, Lewis Swann was working in Togo, Africa. He quickly realized that the largest unmet need in Togo was easily preventable and treatable blindness due to cataracts. All ages suffer from cataracts in rural Togo, even babies. Since 2012, Sight.org has consistently done over 500 eye surgeries a year in Togo. We also have an agriculture program that prevents blindness through increased nutrition. Through our surgeries and agriculture program, we are able to share the gospel with thousands of people. We also have several opportunities to disciple new Christians.
