Southern Maryland RC&D Board, Inc.

The Southern Maryland Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Board, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation serving the citizens of Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's Counties. Working with a variety of partners, Southern Maryland RC&D is helping communities address emerging conservation and quality of life challenges.

Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors our activities are diverse. Since our establishment in 1971 we have completed hundreds of projects ranging from Earth Day activities with local elementary schools to multi-million dollar conservation projects with the U.S. Navy. We work with a broad array of partners, including private citizens, community associations, local businesses, schools, fire and rescue squads, Soil and Water Conservation Districts, nonprofits and local, State and Federal agencies.
