ESCR Forum

The ESCR Forum is an international NGO established with the overarching aim of improving the protection of economic, social and cultural rights. We believe this can be achieved by enabling greater civil society engagement with the Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) and its Committee.

The organisation aims to provide a news, information and training service to national partners, as well as facilitate greater cooperation - both between NGOs and between NGOs and the Committee for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.

We operate to provide the foundation blocks for civil society empowerment - information and dialogue. We provide information and coordinate civil society initiatives to encourage debate between NGOs, States and the Committee, for the further realisation of the rights set out in the Covenant.
