  • Mission

The North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA) is an international sports organization comprised of men and women dedicated to promoting and educating amateur athletics for the LGBTQ community. This year's NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series expects to attract 225+ teams with 5,000+ participants and fans from 46 member associations across the United States and Canada to the Kansas City metro area. All proceeds earned over the course of the tournament will benefit local Kansas City based HIV and AIDS service organizations.

    About Us

The Gay Softball World Series comes to Kansas City in 2019! We could use your help in making certain it is the best series that NAGAAA has ever seen! Your Come to Play Board is excited to host over 225+ teams and 5,000+ attendees from 43 cities for a week's worth of events, ball games, and parties like no other parties.

Teams from the competitive divisions will battle throughout the week-long event to win trophies and bragging rights for years to come! Events will be held in our downtown corridor, and games will be played at three softball complexes across our metro.

We want to make it the most memorable GSWS ever - and to do that we need you! Volunteers may pick the own events & shifts where they'd like to participate, will be provided with t-shirts for their assistance, have water available during their shifts, and get the great opportunity to meet people from all over our country!
