Camp Winnarainbow (CWR) is a transformative children’s performing arts and circus program located in central Mendocino County, California. CWR was founded in 1975 by Woodstock veteran Wavy Gravy and his wife Jahanara with the mission to provide children from diverse racial and economic backgrounds the means to learn circus skills in the embrace of community. Their philosophy, that children playing together will break barriers and build compassion, has produced generations of children who are now leading the planet in creating a mindful, just, and collaborative society. CWR serves the children of over 400 families each summer, of which more than 25% receive financial assistance.
