EasyZambia (EasyZed Initiative)

Our mission is to empower young people and communities in Zambia and beyond to take ownership of environmental conservation, climate action, and sustainable development. We do this by providing environmental literacy, promoting youth leadership, and leveraging innovation, technology, and advocacy to transform waste into opportunity, protect biodiversity, and promote responsible consumption. Through initiatives like EcoVibes, Art4Nature, and the JEHU Innovation Hub, we create inclusive spaces where children, youth, and women can gain knowledge, skills, and confidence to become agents of change. We are committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDGs 4, 6, 12, 13, and 15, while ensuring that grassroots communities are not left behind in the global sustainability agenda.

EasyZambia (EasyZed Initiative) is a legally registered, youth-led nonprofit based in Livingstone, Zambia’s tourist capital. We believe that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow but active changemakers today. Our core values are sustainability, innovation, inclusivity, and community-driven impact.

We serve children, youth, and women by equipping them with environmental literacy, climate leadership skills, and opportunities to engage in sustainable solutions. Since inception, we have reached over 4,000 young people through our flagship Environmental Literacy Programme and expanded our impact with projects such as EcoVibes (AI-powered conservation awareness), Art4Nature, Cybersecurity for Youth, and the Elite10 Climate Diplomacy Programme.

We also established the JEHU Innovation Hub, a free collaborative space for environmental enthusiasts, innovators, and changemakers in Livingstone. Our work has been recognized globally by the United Nations, African Union, and international partners, and supported by organizations such as the Pollination Project and Roundtable Global.

We are committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 6, 12, 13, 15, 16, and 17) by promoting quality education, responsible consumption, climate action, biodiversity protection, peacebuilding, and partnerships. At EasyZambia, we envision a greener, more resilient future led by empowered youth and communities.
