About Us

About NETLOG: NETLOG is a registered nonprofit and non-sectarian umbrella organization. It was founded in 2007 by five Liberian run NGOs/CBOs operating in the Central Region of Ghana, and with the aim of promoting collaboration, information sharing and transparency. Its membership is open to organizations and individuals working within the field of sustainable peace and development.

Mission Statement: NETLOG exists to promote effective collaboration and resource mobilization, information sharing and technical capacity building of its members. It seeks to do this against the background of respecting and promoting the basic rights of people being served.

Organisation Objective(s): NETLOG’s aims and objectives amongst others are to: i. Seek skilled volunteers for placement with member organizations; ii. Solicit assistance for the technical capacity building of member organizations; iii. Develop joint fundraising and project proposals where and when necessary; iv. Facilitate members’ periodic coordination meetings; information sharing and problem solving; v. Seek and build appropriate partnerships, and donor relations; vi. Promote civic education, human rights, and gender equality at all levels; vii. Identify and collaborate with other networks in the achievement of its vision and mission; viii. Encourage members’ voluntary transition to Liberia and maintain contacts with relevant agencies and sister organizations in Liberia, etc.
