Monkey Helpline's mission as an NPO is to build a community in which vervet monkeys, as well as other animals, and human beings can co exist without fear or misunderstanding. we believe that all animals have the right to live happily and freely among us, without prosecution or violations towards the rights we believe all beings are entitled to. we actively rescue monkeys suffering from injuries that may have been inflicted by either natural or unnatural elements, in rural and urban areas alike. unfortunately the number of monkeys requiring our help rises steadily each year, so, in order to combat this, another of our aims is to educate the community as much as possible on how to live peacefully alongside vervet monkeys.
