About Us
Alternatives to Violence educates and empowers victims, survivors and the community to break the cycle of violence.
ATV serves anyone who has been impacted by violence or abuse through free individual and group therapy for adults and children, 24 hour crisis response services, court advocacy, transitional housing, and community outreach. ATV is also currently in the process of opening a Safehouse for women and children in need of safe shelter in our community!
ATV relies on volunteers to help us achieve our mission of working toward a violence free community. Volunteers staff our 24/7 crisis response service, go to court with clients, provide childcare for survivors attending group therapy, assist with administrative duties, and help with outreach and fundraising efforts. ATV's volunteers are vital to our organization!
