  • Mission

EVE's mission is to provide shelter and supportive services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence while also seeking to end such violence through public awareness and community education.

    About Us

Founded in 1977, EVE (originally known as the Council Against Domestic Assault, or CADA) was Lansing's first domestic violence program, providing a safe shelter for women and children experiencing violence. As we evolved we added on sexual assault services and underwent a name change reflective of that. We currently have 4 office locations: our administrative building, the Personal Protection Order Office at the Veteran's Memorial Courthouse, The Domestic Violence Support Unit located in Mason and Eaton County Sexual Assault located in Charlotte.
