Brem Foundation to Defeat Breast Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization championing early detection of breast cancer to improve health outcomes for all through innovation, education, equitable access, and targeted advocacy. We believe that personalized screening is not one-size-fits-all, and together with early detection is the key to improving outcomes. Brem offers digital tools such as our CheckMate breast cancer risk quiz and new Early Detection Resource Hub, and provides breast-health education both in-person and online. Our access programs, Wheels for Women and B-Fund, provide transportation and diagnostic funding for women facing financial and other barriers to care. Brem engages in policy efforts to make early detection of breast cancer accessible to all regardless of an ability to pay, physician training through the Brem Fellowship at GW, and grassroots outreach. Our values of empowerment, equity and community guide our mission to “Detect Early. Save Lives.”
