Family Promise of Greater Charleston

FPGC, an affiliate of the national Family Promise program, is dedicated to helping homeless, soon to be homeless and low-income families in the Greater Charleston area. We are a new affiliate and the Executive Director will be the first salaried position. 

The goal of our efforts is for homelessness to be rare and non-occurring for local families through the help of a community-based response. The first program FPGC plans to launch is a family mentoring program, connecting volunteers with families or individuals who are making efforts to become more self-reliant. Over time, our goal is to provide a broad array of prevention and shelter services that meet the needs in the community.
