  • Mission

The Bichon Frise Rescue effort will endeavor to efficiently use the limited resource of volunteers, money, housing, and time to rehabilitate and responsibly place in adoptive homes those Bichons which have been relinquished or abandoned and which appear to have reasonably sound temperaments and health.

    About Us

We are a very small team of volunteers working together since 2003 to rescue bichons. We all work from our homes across the United States to rescue between 60 and 100 dogs each year. We have an annual fundraiser called the Bichon Bash which gets about 250-300 people who bring their bichons to run leash free in a fenced area and play together. We foster in our homes and get the dogs medically healthy and hopefully permanently adopted. We run a small email helpdesk to answer questions about rescue and the breed.
