Michigan Youth Leadership

The purpose of the Michigan Youth Leadership (MYLead) organization is to inspire the youth of Michigan to become positive leaders in our communities...now, and for the future. We especially encourage leadership in the area of community service.

We host an annual 3-day leadership weekend for over 200 high school students. Each school in southeast Michigan has the opportunity to select a sophomore-level representative to attend the weekend.

We plan to form local MYLead chapters focused on leadership and community service, creating a structured framework for participants to utilize their leadership skills and giving other students the opportunity to become involved.

The targeted audience is high school students...particularly students at the sophomore level because they still have two years to positively influence their schools and communities before graduating.
