Georgetown University Law Center International Women's Human Rights Clinic
111 F Street NW, Room 334
The International Women’s Human Rights Clinic at Georgetown University Law Center focuses on using international, regional, comparative, and national human rights law to prevent and redress violations of women’s human rights. Over the course of a semester, Clinic students develop "cause lawyering" skills while working as part of a team with a Clinic partner NGO to develop policy, strategy, and proposed legislation or court papers using e-mail, teleconferencing, and Skype technology. Local lawyers and clinic faculty collaboratively choose the projects and supervise the work.
