Millennium Art Academy

The mission of the Millennium Art Academy High School is to use visual art, the humanities, interdisciplinary math/science projects, and intergenerational experiences as catalysts for life-changing, educational experiences for inner-city students in New York City. - Our mission statement, "Using Visual Art To Reveal Our Humanity," denotes the values in our school that are woven into all facets of our instructional program. Students learn that in our small universalistic school family, each student has the ability to affect change, not only for him/herself but for their immediate community and ultimately the world. - We offer intensive academic enrichment, artistic, and community programs.
