We have been caring for thousands of terminally ill patients for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for over 30 years and our passion and dedication to offer dignity and choice has never dwindled. Our vision is a community, where no person has to die alone, in pain or in distress.
Volunteers have always been at the very heart of St Luke’s Hospice, and since we opened in 1982 we have been extremely appreciative of our regular and loyal team of volunteers.
Whatever your skills or experience, volunteering for a few hours a week can make a huge difference to the care given to our patients, their families and carers. There are a variety of roles to get involved with. We offer training, a chance to make friends, have fun, develop skills or an opportunity to learn new ones and do something that is both challenging and rewarding. We would love to hear from you.
