ISAAC, Interfaith Strategy for Advocacy and Action in the Community

ISAAC, Interfaith Strategy for Advocacy and Action in the Community, engages in faith-based community organizing in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. We are a network of congregations and strategic partners working together to build a more just community.

We use the principles of community organizing to tackle neighborhood, local, county, state, and national issues. We believe that the world is not as it should be. And we believe that as people of faith we are called to engage the world and make a positive impact. We oppose unjust practices and systems, while casting a vision of a new world in which we can share. We work towards implementation of alternative innovative policies.

We are an affiliate of the Gamaliel Foundation, the fastest growing network of community organizing groups in the county.
