    Midland Need to Read improves literacy and enhances the productivity of Midland County adults. Midland Need to Read is a 501 C 3 non-profit adult literacy organization who trains volunteers to tutor adult learners for improved literacy skills.

    Adult Learners set literacy goals, improve literacy through tutoring, then achieve their goals of reading to their children, obtaining a job or better job, passing the GED, becoming a citizen, or participating fully in the community, at work and in their family. Literacy skills include reading, writing, speaking and listening in English.
