FRIENDS OF OAK CLIFF PARKS

  • Mission

Our mission is to maintain and restore horticulture in the historic parks of Oak Cliff, to provide educational and social activities that promote the love of gardening, to advocate for conservation and a greater appreciation of the environment, and to back public policies that support our goals.

    About Us

The Friends of Oak Cliff Parks provide numerous and varied opportunities for our volunteers. Garden lovers can join us at one of our workdays which are held twice a week in Oak Cliff's historic parks to weed, prune and plant to your heart's content. We also always welcome help in running the admin side of things: If your strength is in IT, marketing, events management or fundraising, we'd love to speak with you as well.

There are plenty of opportunities to work in the gardens, support meetings and social events, field trips and educational outreach activities. The parks we're active in include Kidd Springs, Lake Cliff, Kiest Memorial Garden and Kiest Conservation Area.

The Friends of Oak Cliff Parks Garden Club is proud to be a member of both Texas Garden Clubs Inc. and National Garden Clubs Inc.
