MS Hoops Foundation

  • Mission

The mission of the MS Hoops Foundation is to empower young athletes through the game of basketball by fostering personal growth, leadership, and life skills. We are committed to providing high-quality training, mentorship, and opportunities that support the development of confident, disciplined, and community-minded individuals—on and off the court.

    About Us

The MS Hoops Foundation was created to use basketball as a tool to inspire, empower, and guide youth on and off the court. Founded by Coach Marlon Smith, our mission is to build confidence, character, and leadership in young athletes, especially those from underserved communities.

From a small training group, we’ve grown into a respected organization serving youth in Rye, NY, Greenwich, CT, and the Bronx. Through camps, travel teams, and mentorship, we impact hundreds of kids each year.

We focus on more than basketball-we shape the whole athlete. Discipline, teamwork, and personal growth are at the heart of everything we do. Many of our players go on to compete at the college level and become leaders in their schools and communities.

We’re currently seeking volunteers, including nurses or nursing students, to support our camps and ensure safety on-site. Join us and help change lives-one player at a time.
