For more than 65 years, the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Psychology, an internationally-renowned psychoanalytic center, has been providing postgraduate training in psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, and related fields, including child and adolescent psychotherapy. We provide a range of low-cost therapeutic services through our award-winning, active community clinic, annually serving hundreds of individuals and families from the community. Our students come to us for advanced specialty training from the fields of psychiatry, clinical psychology, social work, and related professions. A leading exponent of the "interpersonal" point of view in psychoanalysis, the Institute has forged a reputation at the cutting edge of theory and practice.
