  • Mission

To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.

    About Us

Founded in 1994, the Hawaii Kai Jaycees was established as a local chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI). The purpose of JCI is to help young people develop themselves through community development. Members are encouraged to seek all opportunities for professional and personal growth. Community service projects, while intended to make a positive impact are meant to be a means to help young adults grow in skills and experience.

In 2018, members help lead the JCI Hawaii Adopt-a-School Project, an annual statewide effort by local JCI Hawaii chapters and partnering organizations to help make a meaning impact for schools.

In 2017, the chapter partnered with sister chapter JCI Nagoya with their 3G Project and sent students to Nagoya, Japan. The students participated in a week long international leadership camp where attendees included students from Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
