  • About Us

    We are the Eastown Community Association [ECA]. We are dedicated to building, backing, and broadening community through proactive neighboring and community improvement. Here are some ways that we accomplish our mission:

    • Sponsoring neighborhood cleanups
    • Hosting community social events
    • Enlisting volunteers and employing their time and talents
    • Reporting and recording housing code violations
    • Establishing block clubs and encouraging proactive neighboring
    • Envisioning and initiating strategies for Eastown’s future
    • Hosting a garden club and planning for more green spaces
    • Working in partnership with the Eastown Business Association (EBA)
    • Collaborating with local colleges on student centered concerns
    • Promoting and petitioning for the traffic calming devices and designs
    • Helping homebound and low income residents find support services
    • Seeking “ways and means” to enhance and expand community outreach
    • Working to reduce crime and provide alternative activities for our “at risk” youths
    • Publishing and distributing the Eastown Access
