Women In International Security

Women In International Security is the premier global network of women and men dedicated to advancing the leadership and professional development of women in international peace and security. WIIS (pronounced "wise") also supports research, analysis, and policy engagement on the critical nexus between gender and international security.

WIIS continues to serve its mission by:

-Producing groundbreaking research on women in peace and security careers;

-Fostering women’s leadership development and mentoring support; and

-Expanding the WIIS network of women and men who are dedicated to women’s leadership in peace and security
