    • Mission

    We seek donations of used wheelchair vans and donated funds to provide much-needed mobility to underprivileged kids, adults, elderly and VETs. Many of our recipients are single-parent mothers who are tasked with trying to work, take care of their special needs child, other children and manage without transportation. Receiving a free adapted vehicle is a 'life changer' for the lucky family. We call getting the van, 'The Ultimate Joy Ride'.

    About Us

    We are not only about charity funding, but are best known for our wheelchair van assistance program.

    It all began in 2006 as an outgrowth of our 'donate a car' fundraiser. Our CEO, having a special needs child himself who enjoyed the use of a wheelchair van, noticed an occasional donation of a handicap van. He thought it was a 'waste' to send such a vehicle to a dealer auction. Typically, that would only bring several hundred to a few thousand dollars in funding, with the van even likely to be used for other purposes.

    Why not hold the van and find a local needy family that could enjoy such a gift. Eventually, when we saw that no one was doing this nationwide, the program expanded to fill the need. We have also expanded into Crowdfunding Campaigns and DAFs to help raise funds to refurbish vehicles and to help individuals with their own appeals, to fund vans for their personal family needs.
