  • About Us

Founded in 1988 as an independent, non-profit, and non-partisan Nepali human rights organization, INSEC aims to cater human rights education and awareness to the grassroots people. At the national level, it seeks to advocate for human rights and monitor the state of implementation of human rights instruments. INSEC runs its programs through five regional offices and forty local networks. In addition, one representative in all seventy-five districts has been permanently deployed to monitor and report the grassroots human rights situation.
