    The mission of Culpeper Literacy Council is to provide, promote, and coordinate literacy services for adults 18 years of age or older in the Culpeper community. Originally started in January 1987, Culpeper Literacy Council was established as a non-profit in 1989 and has been a succesful resource for adult education for 25 years.

    Culpeper Literacy Council provides classes for students who wish to learn English as a second language, obtain a GED, or learn about United States citizenship. Free one-on-one tutoring to adults who wish to read, improve basic skills and obtain a GED is also provided.
