COMPUTING AND INFORMATION ASSOCIATION (CIA) is an association of youth professionals in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and related discipline in Tanzania, founded in June 2010 and registered in June 2011 as Non government, National-wide and Non-Profit making organization. The members include youth professional individuals. However membership is open to persons, corporations, institutions, industries, companies, partnerships, or other associations from public or private, directly or indirectly engaged in the practice of Computing as specified in the constitution and by-laws of the Association.VISION “To advance ICT Professionalism and to spread the ICT knowledge toward informationrich society.”MISSION “To organize and recognize ICT professionals on usage and promotion of advancement of ICT, socially, economically and politically as well.”
