Partnership for Shelter Animals NYC

  • Mission

Our mission is to help the homeless and abandoned animals living in our municipal shelter, Animal Care & Control of NYC, as well as in other local shelters and rescues. We network to find shelter animals permanent or foster homes, promote volunteering and fostering, and provide the animals with toys and enrichment items that reduce the stress of living in a cage.

    About Us

Partnership for Shelter Animals NYC is a volunteer-run organization that is devoted to helping the homeless and abandoned cats, dogs, and rabbits living in our City shelter, Animal Care & Control of NYC.

PSA NYC's founder is a current AC&C volunteer and foster with years of experience at the shelter. This boots on the ground knowledge enables us to work directly with the shelter staff to provide the animals with what they need most. This includes, canned food when supplies run out, toys, treats and other enrichment items, beds, kitten supplies, and medical supplies.

We also work to promote Adopt Don't Shop, Spay/Neuter, volunteering, fostering, donating, and sharing available animals on social media to find them homes.
