Housing Development Consortium

Housing Development Consortium is the leading county-wide coalition of nonprofit housing developers and other organizations and businesses working to meet the need for affordable housing in King County. HDC members represent the "Future of the Field," developing and preserving housing affordability throughout King County and the Puget Sound region. Our membership includes the most experienced nonprofit housing developers in the state, plus bankers and lenders, private sector firms, architects, contractors, lawyers, consultants, local housing authorities and government agencies committed to addressing the Puget Sound region's housing affordability crisis.

HDC works to expand the capacity of nonprofits to produce, finance, and manage housing through its advocacy, awareness building and programming and by forging alliances with government and the private sector. HDC members have committed to building a broad alliance for housing as well as increasing efficiencies and creating the resources necessary to double HDC member's production of affordable housing.
