About Us
Our Mission: To equip our LEADers with the tools necessary to return to their communities as effective leaders.Through the combination
of a weekly, in-class curriculum focused on the tenets of Vision, Empathy and
Tenacity, bi-monthly mentoring relationships provided by volunteer professionals,
and outdoor experiential summer adventure trips, LEAD aims to cultivate and
steward pre-adolescent, at-risk youth in Houston’s inner city through character
development during the most crucial time of personal growth: sixth, seventh and
eighth grades.
