Zealous Schools

Zealous Schools is a network of schools that currently includes the Entrepreneurship Preparatory School & the Village Preparatory School.

Entrepreneurship Preparatory School (E Prep) is an urban public middle school where 100% of the graduates are college bound. E Prep is a tuition-free school of choice sponsored by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District that is characterized by a culture of high expectations and the “no excuses” attitude of every student and teacher. At E Prep we believe that all students can achieve academic success. Through the implementation of an extended school day and year, and with the help of a zealous group of faculty and staff, E Prep is dedicated to providing a premier educational experience to students throughout the city of Cleveland, Ohio. In only its 2nd year, E Prep was designated “Effective” by the Ohio Department of Education and was named a “School of Promise” by the State Superintendent. It outperforms most urban schools, both charters and traditional.

This coming 2009-2010 academic year, Zealous Schools will incorporate K-5 programming, with the founding of the “Village Preparatory School.” Like E Prep, Village Prep will be dedicated to providing a premier educational experience to children throughout Northeast Ohio. We will emphasize individual educational growth resulting in above proficient test scores and successful promotion to a high achieving middle school. This will take place in a technologically advanced, safe, and disciplined environment.
