  • About Us

The North American Students of Cooperation (NASCO) is an alliance of group-equity housing cooperatives helping to build a world where every community benefits from resident-controlled housing by educating and organizing youth and emerging leaders to create and care for co-ops in the US and Canada. Since our founding in 1968, we have worked to increase awareness of cooperatives on North American campuses and communities while building partnerships worldwide. Our programs include a Cooperative Education & Training Institute, Cooperative Leadership Certification Program, and Cooperative Staff & Member Leadership Conference. In addition, NASCO provides asset management and development support to group-equity housing cooperatives across the US and Canada. For more information about our work, visit http://nasco.coop
