Kindred Tails Sanctuary is a small, grassroots animal rescue located in Screven County, Georgia. We are driven by compassion and community—and committed to giving stray, abandoned, and forgotten animals a second chance at life.
Founded on the belief that every life has value, we provide food, shelter, medical care, enrichment, and love to animals who have nowhere else to turn. Our sanctuary primarily supports cats, but we also assist with chickens, goats, and other animals in need. Many of the animals we take in are sick, injured, or feral, and our team works tirelessly to rehabilitate and rehome them when possible—or offer lifelong sanctuary when it isn’t.
We are entirely volunteer-run and rely heavily on donations, community support, and partnerships with local animal advocates. Every dollar and every hour volunteered directly impacts the animals in our care.
At our core, we value compassion, integrity, and education. We strive not just to save lives, but to change hearts—by raising awareness about responsible pet care, spay/neuter programs, and the importance of showing kindness to all creatures, great and small.
