About Us
Anjellicle Cats Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping make New York City a no-kill city. We are one of the most active cat rescues in New York City. We rescued over 1500 cats in 2014 and 1200 of those were at immediate risk for euthanasia at the city shelter and saved by us with only hours to spare. As a New Hope Partner with Animal Care and Control (ACC), we work closely with the ACC to save sick, injured and so-called unadoptable animals from being euthanized. Each rescued cat is given love, medical care and welcomed with kindness into a foster home with the goal of adoption into a permanent, loving home.
We have a network of about 300 foster homes and over 500 cats available for adoption. We welcome new volunteers, fosters and adopters. Visit us at our weekly adoption events or at our three adoption center locations in New York City. For more details, email info@anjelliclecats.com.
