EXCEPTIONAL ENSEMBELL
Mission
The goal of the Exceptional Ensembell Bell Choir is to build self-esteem, independence and social skills and to share unique musical abilities with the community. The program includes adults with various disabilities. The Exceptional Ensembell includes notable adults playing music together joyfully.
About Us
In 2018, two mothers of former elementary special education classmates raised money to start a special needs hand bell choir. The program is based on a national model. The program is led by a board certified music therapist and includes online as well as in-person practices. This past year Covid-19 limited our ability to perform but we "rang on" in a parade and holiday tree lighting ceremony.
