  • Mission

We are here to help pets stay in their loving homes instead of being surrendered to an animal shelter. The primary reason people surrender pets is due to financial constraints. Home Dog LA, the organization behind the North Central Shelter Intervention program, offers community based solutions to local residents to help them and their pets through difficult times.

    About Us

Home Dog LA helps low income pet owners with resources to keep their pets. We offer assistance with low cost vet care, free spay/neuter, vaccines, pet redemption fees, dog training classes, landlord deposits, city license fees, guidance on Emotional Support Animal letters, pro bono Tenant Right’s Lawyers, humane euthanasia, food, collars, and leashes. We are located at the North Central Animal Shelter near downtown Los Angeles.
