globale Rio Film Festival

What is globalization after all? How do we operate it? With so many questions about the topic and with the objective of promoting films and debates around the issue, the globale festival lands in Rio de Janeiro promising warm discussion. globale was created in Germany in 2003 and today is also present in two other countries - Uruguay and Poland. Its first edition in Brazil, globale Rio 2011, will be held in November between 18 and 26. The event is proposed to show audiovisual works - free of genre and format - in cinemas, schools, universities, film clubs and cultural centers in different parts of Rio de Janeiro and around the state capital.
