LexHAB is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to creating, preserving and managing affordable housing in Lexington, MA. Founded in 1983 as a quasi-municipal organization charged with investigating and implementing alternatives for affordable housing in Lexington, LexHAB believes low- and moderate-income individuals and families should have the same access to Lexington's housing, excellent schools, and strong community resources as higher income residents.

LexHAB owns and operates 86 affordable housing units throughout Lexington, MA. LexHAB serves 250 individuals in safe, environmentally sustainable homes, enabling affordable access to Lexington’s excellent schools and strong community resources. LexHAB is committed to expanding Lexington’s affordable housing inventory and adding new affordable units through purchase, development and donation.
