Campaign to Elect Asher D. Edelson to Hillsborough County School Board District 6
About Asher:
I was raised in Tampa and have lived in Hillsborough County for most of my life. I attended Hillsborough County Public Schools growing up - started at Dale Mabry Elementary, proceeded to Coleman Middle, and graduated a senior at H.B. Plant High. I have developed a political mentality, and became interested in local politics when I realized that I could make a difference with getting healthier food into the schools.
I want to work with farmers to produce healthy, organic food for the schools in Hillsborough County. Some who go to school cannot afford a brown bag lunch (home packed), and I especially want those people to have the assurance of a safe, healthy school environment, and that includes good food to fuel the school and its students.
What we need:
- Volunteers who are inspired to help the community by providing support to the campaign
