    The Human Rights Foundation of Monland (HURFOM) is a non-governmental human rights organization founded in 1995 by a group of Mon relief workers, students and community leaders. HURFOM works to monitor the human rights situation in southern Burma, with a particular focus on human rights issues faced by Mon communities. HURFOM disseminates information regarding human rights in southern Burma to a global audience, through the publication of print and online news, and through the periodic publication of thematic reports.
